highlights from day 1 & 2 of NSS

if you couldn't tell by my post yesterday, i've been pretty much salivating the past 48 hours over all the amazing stationery collected in one place right now -- the national stationery show in nyc. all my favorite stationery bloggers have been posting their favorite items from the show...and seriously, this looks like heaven to me.

here are a few images to get your creative juices flowing.

the paper + cup booth, via simple + pretty:

[i love the black walls and black & white shelving! what a cool, unique display.]

calendars from old school stationers, via design*sponge:

and new designs from sycamore street press, also via design*sponge:

nole at oh so beautiful paper has been creating amazing photo recaps of everything she's seen at NSS [and has been tweeting about it here!] -- i don't know how she does it! here are a few of my favorites:

here's sugar paper [and they're from l.a.! yay!]:

and sub-studio:

albertine press:

and wiley valentine:

one more great booth, for the record -- this is one of my letterpress faves, linda & harriet; i think the criss-crossed string is so cool:

i am so in love with all the different display styles, colors, products and everything else at the show -- all of it is so inspiring! some of these designers are new to me and i'll definitely keep my eye on them from here on out.

my day job in PR gives me a slightly different outlook on judging the display structure of the booths, the products highlighted, etc. but i'm super impressed with how everything turned out. those national stationery show planners...they know their stuff!
