lucky deals

thanks to a hot tip from one of my favorite stationery place readers, i discovered the current issue of lucky magazine features two great stationery companies -- AND offers sweet deals!

first up: blue ribbon design. this is a letterpress company based in manhattan with some truly beautiful designs -- plus a visually inspiring blog here. how gorgeous are these thank you cards? so elegant!

blue ribbon also features lines of greeting cards, note card sets, hangtags and notebooks. best of all, a handful of products are printed on 100% cotton paper using soy-based inks. i love green stationerias!

thanks to lucky, log on to the blue ribbon site and enter "luckybreaks1" at checkout to save 30% on everything excluding wedding invitations.

next, the soap and paper factory, also based in new york. this isn't a straight stationery-only company, so i was intrigued to learn more -- in addition to note cards, soap & paper also sells -- you guessed it -- soap, but also perfume, candles, bath powder and scented stationery. COOL. the cards come in yummy scents like orange blossom, verbena or cinnamon clove, plus you get a vial of hand-poured perfume.

more on the scented stationery, from the web site:

Remember scenting love notes with “Loves Baby Soft?” Now you're all grown up and you can rekindle the lost art of letter writing with our romantic scented note cards. Twenty-four note cards and envelopes, plus a vial of hand-poured perfume. Made from recycled materials. Reuse the box top for a handy desk accessory.

love it!

more pretty notecards and stationery sets:

you can save 50% on a set of six notecards by going to luckybreaksonline.com before july 1. go for the notecard sale, stay for the scented stationery. i'm still freaking out about how cool that is.
