'one size fits all' monday

i'm still job hunting in utah, but rather than becoming depressed about all this new-found free time [like i was last week], i'm taking THIS week's opportunity to expand my crafty side and catch up on some new projects. hopefully i'll have some new things to share with you soon!

in the meantime, this card made me laugh. definitely perfect for the procrastinator in your life...this "one size fits all" card can save you on any last-minute occasion:

here's to a productive new week!

  1. This reminds me of the Knock Knock stationery. How fun!

  2. That card is hilarious!

Sorry I've been out of touch! How is Utah so far? We were there for a family reunion the week you moved there! Crazy, huh?! We had a great time. Have you ever eaten at the Trolley in Springville? Very yummy food.

You should totally try canning! I'm sure there are plenty of people there that would love to help you get started. :) As for the applesauce it's very simple! You just wash, quarter and core the apples, put them in boiling water to soften them (the Lodi apples I used are awesome--you don't even have to peel them but you might have to peel other types of apples). After straining them I mashed them with a potato masher, added about 3/4 cup sugar to 2 quarts of apples and that's it! They need to be processed in the water bath canner for 20 minutes. To add blueberry/boysenberries pureed about 3/4 cup of the berries with some applesauce then pour it back in and stir it together.

Best of luck to you in the job search...I know that can be frustrating.

    Have a beautiful day!
