hopeful cards

yesterday i kept seeing cardstore's twitter feed pop up with information about "hope is in the cards" and wanted to learn more. then, paper crave did a post and helped fill in the blanks with what i was missing -- and i knew i had to post about it to help spread the word!

this week, september 1 - 7, is the week of hope -- retailers across the country are coming together to bring hope to our country, one card or letter at a time. lifting spirits by using paper? now THAT's something i can get behind.

various companies are offering all sorts of deals -- get a free hope card with any purchase, get free postage, etc. -- in hopes of encouraging people to send 300 million greeting cards by mail to perk people up in this tough economic time. not only do we have the ongoing recession, but my heart's been going out to all those in southern california affected by the wildfires -- and i'm sure there are plenty of other reasons people could use a boost.

cardstore.com is participating with a new line called the hope collection. this week, personalize any card from that line with text and/or photos and cardstore will print & send it to anyone in the country, free of charge! click here for details and to get started. they're also doing a stationery giveaway, which you can read more about here.

hooray for hope! go personalize your card right now & spread a little happiness :)

  2. This is awesome! I am going to send out a card from cardstore and make some bright cards for other people. Thanks!

p.s. I love to look at your blog, I keep looking at it after Sarah was a guest blogger. Mind if I put your blog on my blog?
