mother's day, coming right up
mother's day is a week from sunday! have you picked out a card or present yet? we're moving to denver next week so i don't know if i'm going to have time to adequately celebrate my wonderful momma -- but thanks to lovely stationery and the us postal service, she'll definitely be getting something in the mail.
if you still need some ideas, how about these?
make mom a paper corsage out of your beautiful paper stash [as featured on make & takes]:
send a fabulously classy letterpressed card, like this one from sycamore street press. and while you're at it, check out the great lineup of mother's day cards that eva put together on the SSP blog.
and how about these gift ideas? visit pinkerton design before mother's day and choose a stylish tote bag or notebook, along with a mother's day card -- then enter "welovemoms" at checkout and get your card for free! i especially like this one, because my mom & i share a major weakness for delicious treats:
and, i've saved the best for last! here's a gift that seriously keeps on giving...sunlit letterpress just announced their letterpress lovers club! i think this is the greatest idea. basically, you sign up for a membership -- for yourself OR for someone else, like your mom! wink wink -- and receive some beautiful letterpress goodness in your mailbox at the beginning of each month.
i know we all LOVE getting mail, especially pretty mail. :) [the cards pictured at the top of this post are from sunlit letterpress -- gorgeous, no?] this is a perfect gift for any fellow paper-lovers in your life. you can sign up by purchasing your membership on their etsy site.
and there you have it! get shopping, people!
