guest blog: carolyn from homework

I’m thrilled to be here guest blogging during Halloween Week. I’m Carolyn from homework and I’ve been a fan of The Stationery Place for quite awhile now. I love all things paper too and Lyndsey always showcases such beautiful paper products.

Halloween is such a fun time but it’s typically all about bright colors, costumes and candy – especially if you have small children. I thought it would be fun to create a trick or treat or goodie bag item that didn’t involve a sugar rush.

I created these mini composition books with a Halloween twist. You can purchase mini composition books at an office supply store or dollar store. Simply cover the front and back with cardstock. Then print out fun labels or book plates like; composition book (BOO), spelling workbook (SPELL BOOK), and mad science lab notes (MAD LAB).

Thank you for having me over Lyndsey and Happy Halloween to all.

thanks carolyn! those notebooks are adorable -- an easy way to spice up your regular school supplies. stay tuned all week, friends, for more guest halloween projects on the stationery place!
