i love scotch brand [ + a giveaway!]

i'm sure you have all heard of scotch brand. they've really become the crafter's best friend in the past few years, with fun features on their website like a project how-to page and upload a project sweepstakes. did you know you can submit any project you've worked on, using one or more scotch brand products, and be entered to win a cricut expression? so fun! scotch not only provides reliable and multi-functional products, but they want to support crafters all the way through the finished product -- and that's a company i can get behind.

anyway, on a personal note, i've been obsessed [like OB. sessed.] with their double-sided tape for a few years ever since i began taking paper crafting more seriously -- i love that it's so sticky, lays so flat and is so easy to work with. but did you know scotch has a ton of other adhesives to fulfill your every craft need?

check it:

scotch sent me this package of paper-crafting goodies and i've been loving every single piece. in fact, i didn't even know they made scissors, but those precision ultra edge non-stick scissors are my new favorite -- i used them on all my holiday crafts and they are still super sharp [and cut great, which is saying something because i suck at cutting].

the other adhesives are all super easy to use. the wrinkle-free glue sticks and scrapbooker's glue are a lot stickier than i expected -- i guess i'm used to using cheap gluesticks [which i probably bought from the 99cent store, haha] that barely stick to anything, but these are awesome. i've used them to adhere photos and mementos in jack's baby book and so far nothing is moving. the scrapbooker's glue is clear and so easy to apply since it has a sponge tip AND a precision tip so you're covered no matter what you're working on. i haven't tried the tacky glue yet but i'm really excited about it -- it's supposed to work great for creating 3D objects.

and now, as an early christmas present, how would YOU like to win the scotch brand supplies pictured above? scotch is sponsoring an amazing giveaway for THREE lucky winners. yay! to enter, just leave me a comment telling me what you're doing for the holidays this year [plus an extra entry if you tweet about it]. you have until midnight on december 25 to enter, and i'll announce the winners next week. good luck!

p.s. since i KNOW you are all wrapping your little hearts out this week...be sure to check out scotch's gift wrap idea headquarters. fun!

  1. Oo, fun! I'm doing all small gifts this year. A love letter exchange with the hubs, jewelery for the girls & custom return address rubber stamps for the moms! I'm particularly excited about those stamps to get done.

P.S. I could totally use some nice scissors. I have the $1 kind that don't close all the way. I don't know why I don't have a decent pair of scissors!
