i've started decorating for valentine's day, which feels a little weird since it's still january. but seriously -- it feels like it's been january forevvvvvver and i'm so ready to get a new month. maybe my holiday decorations will help speed things up a little.
i made this paper heart garland last week and strung it up on our shelves. super easy to do -- i just traced and cut out hearts on various pretty papers [like that damask turquoise one? i made that myself, on my L letterpress!], then taped them to baker's twine and hung it up. it's bright and cheery, and baby jack loves to look at it. score.
if you're starting to plan valentine parties, invitations are a must. you could go the digital route and send this cute hanging hearts card via pingg, designed by heather cowdell of swanky paper:
...or this valentine bunting one from tinyprints:
or, you could send cute valentine "thinking of you" cards with these fun zig zag stripes from parrott design studio...
more valentines finds coming next week, when it actually becomes february :)
p.s. i've officially sent out all the valentine swap assignments! if you haven't seen yours in your inbox this week, please email me so we can get it sorted out.
