paper party by a fabulous fete

when i attended the so cal blogger's bee, i couldn't help but notice the adorable "celebrate" garland hanging above our table. i was delighted to find a similar "hooray" banner and some clever little dessert tags in my goody bag, all from lauren at a fabulous fete.

of course i high-tailed it home to scope out her etsy site and fantastic blog, and i've been loving what i saw ever since. a fabulous fete has everything you could possibly want for party-throwing, but it's some of lauren's awesome paper-loving projects that have me particularly excited. check out some of my favorites:

and finally, this post takes the cake. lauren and sharon from cupcakes & cutlery planned a little new year's party themed around paper! yay! it included sparkly calendars [pictured below], paper banners and decorations, noisemakers, calendar favors, and even paper accessories for all the guests! not to mention a ridiculously amazing paper chandelier [also pictured below]. man, it would be my dream come true to attend a party like this.
