seattle paper: tutta lou and wayzgoose

last week i was fortunate enough to meet sarah from tutta lou press -- a one-woman letterpress studio based right here in seattle!

[all photos are mine]

sarah let me (and jack) come by her studio to check everything out. i was in heaven -- from the turquoise press wheel to the beautifully displayed products to the cute decorations all around, sarah's studio seems like the perfect place to work.

sarah worked in a completely different industry before beginning tutta lou a few years ago, and has turned her hobby into a booming business. she is definitely in the right spot, in my opinion -- check out her awesome work!

tutta lou specializes in custom work (hint hint, wedding planners!) and wholesale orders. they sell a wide range of products including cards, prints, business cards, invitations and more. to learn more about tutta lou, visit their web site below.

sarah also introduced me to the 10th annual letterpress and steamroller wayzgoose smackdown (whew, what a name!) happening TOMORROW at the school of visual concepts. it's a festival of all things letterpress and there will be a marketplace full of local printers selling their wares. um, sounds amazing!! i'm going to try to swing by -- will i see you there?

  1. I wish I could go! I went to classes at the School of Visual Concepts way back when and have been thinking of taking more lately! Gian poster made by a steamroller - can't beat that!
