national stationery show 2012: bright booths

i definitely loved all the BRIGHT colors at this year's stationery show. as we discussed in the panel (more on that to come too!), vibrant colors, rich hues and neon are all the rage in 2012 and NSS definitely delivered. here are a few of my favorite booths showcasing color:

fine day press had such a great use of color and shape -- they even had metallic notebooks AND a new watercolor calendar too.

fabulous neon cards from anemone letterpress (one of a handful of stationery studios based in my hometown of pasadena, CA! way to represent;) :

egg press has been one of my favorite studios since i started blogging -- i was so excited to meet their team in person. (AND they're in portland -- yay, pacific northwest!) the neon geometric cards were the best.

fisk & fern was a new discovery for me this year -- such fun colors and illustrations:

wallace west had a booth with pastel walls to showcase all the cute hand-illustrated cards. i liked the dogs the best.

a wall full of brightly-colored cards from kelp designs:

stay tuned -- more to come next week!
