halloween flashback: carolyn from homework

hooray, october is here! i love halloween. i'm out this week attending the greeting card association national convention, so while i'm gone you get a ride back in time to check out some of the awesome halloween paper projects created by some guests of the stationery place. this post originally ran in october 2010.

I’m thrilled to be here guest blogging during Halloween Week. I’m Carolyn from homework and I’ve been a fan of The Stationery Place for quite awhile now. I love all things paper too and Lyndsey always showcases such beautiful paper products.

Halloween is such a fun time but it’s typically all about bright colors, costumes and candy – especially if you have small children. I thought it would be fun to create a trick or treat or goodie bag item that didn’t involve a sugar rush.

I created these mini composition books with a Halloween twist. You can purchase mini composition books at an office supply store or dollar store. Simply cover the front and back with cardstock. Then print out fun labels or book plates like; composition book (BOO), spelling workbook (SPELL BOOK), and mad science lab notes (MAD LAB).

Thank you for having me over Lyndsey and Happy Halloween to all.

thanks carolyn! those notebooks are adorable -- an easy way to spice up your regular school supplies. xoxo lyndsey
