i've got a growing collection of books about pretty paper -- ideas for handmade stationery, pop-up cards, you name it. here are a few of my favorites, sure to be a hit with any stationery lover in your life:

1. i heart stationery by charlotte rivers -- i reviewed this book a while back and still get a big kick out of flipping through it. a perfect coffee table book or bedside read.

2. stitchable stationery by jenny hart -- another stationery book i received as a gift! the book comes with card templates & embroidery thread for you to add your handmade touch.

3. pop-up cards by mari kumada -- lots of instructional photos, templates and ideas for out-of-the-box cards for every occasion.

4. modern paper crafts by margaret van sicklen -- 20 projects made from classic paper craft techniques, like paper bowls, boxes & mobiles.

5. deck the halls by katy mccoll -- a book full of DIY christmas gifts, crafts, decorations, pullout recipe cards and gingerbread house templates (!) from the publishers of country living.

6. handmade hellos by eunice moyle & sabrina moyle -- written by the genius sisters who created hello!lucky. i got this book as a gift a few years ago and LOVE it. so many cute ideas, even some you can do with kids.
