PR 201 for bloggers: orange county edition

also while in california, i got to teach another kismet PR workshop in orange county. (see photos from my latest seattle workshop here.) teaching bloggers & small business owners how to do their own marketing / PR and benefit from social media is my very favorite thing to do, so i was super excited to meet this talented group. the workshop sold out a few weeks before i even came to town! we had 15 women from all over southern california and they were so sharp and fun to work with. here's a look at our class:

i could NOT have done this workshop without my friend sharon (the famous blogger behind cupcakes & cutlery). she helped coordinate all the logistics, from securing the beautiful e madison home store as our venue to locking down gift bag sponsors & tasty food from meringue bake shop. i mean, seriously...look at this spread:
