ha, sorry about the radio silence the past week or so...my husband and i took one last vacation pre-baby-#2 (and our first official vacation where jack stayed home!) to hawaii last week and it was perfect. my amazing mom flew up to stay with jack while we jetted off to the islands for lots of whale watching, eating, reading, laying on the beach and absolutely NO taking care of children...dreamy. i'm kind of in a post-hawaii depression at this moment. ;)
anyway, a couple exciting things happening this week for seattleites (see below) -- and for the rest of ya, stay tuned cause i've got a bunch of cool paper stuff in the pipeline.
>> CRAFT & CHAT WITH ASSEMBLE SHOP. you might recall my post about the talented ladies behind assemble -- this week, they're hosting the march seattle bloggers unite meetup and it's going to be off the hook. not only do we have the regular discussion / Q&A (all about how to best sell your stuff and yourself, online & in real life) but there's also a crochet class happening from 5-7 p.m.! PLUS, trophy cupcakes is hosting us in their fabulous party room, so there will be lots of cupcakes for all. :) click here to get a ticket and join us.
>> PAPER WEEK AT BEN FRANKLIN. did you know march is national craft month? my favorite local craft store, ben franklin, is hosting a bunch of really fun paper make & takes at the redmond store this week -- everything from a demo on using chalk ink to paper punches to embossing and more. click here to see the whole lineup.
