i was so fortunate to work with the kind people at tiny prints to create hudson's birth announcements! as you'll recall, jack's birth announcements got pushed to the way-side so i was eager to make & send hudson's as soon as possible to celebrate our cute little guy.
i started by browsing the tiny prints baby announcement selection (do you know they have 800 different styles to choose from?!). there is definitely something for everyone, from photo cards to text cards to announcements for twins -- and styles range from modern to traditional, so you can choose from bright colors or subdued pastels or chalkboard writing or different photo layouts. seriously, shopping for a card is so much fun. it was hard to narrow it down!
i ended up selecting the adorable airmail card on matte paper. i love all the little choices you can make to customize your card, like selecting square edges instead of rounded and the ability to change the text to whatever i wanted. plus, the striped backer is adorable.
one thing i especially love about tiny prints' baby announcement selection is that they've got great BOY choices. now that i've got two little boys in my life, i'm even more annoyed by the lack of cute boy stuff out there. ever shopped at target to get baby boy clothes? you've got like one rack of choices, while there are 20+ racks of baby girl stuff. plus, i'm typically against anything super-cutesy like little cartoon characters and silly text, so that limits my choices even more. tiny prints has really cool, modern choices for boys with fun bright colors and none of the cutesy stuff. hooray!
thank you, tiny prints, for providing me with such cute baby announcements! can't wait to start shopping for christmas cards very soon.
