introducing: cricut explore

you might have heard that cricut introduced the new cricut explore on tuesday -- this new machine sounds amazing! DIYers and crafters alike are already familiar with the cricut and all of its paper-cutting abilities, but the cricut explore takes all of that up a notch -- besides paper, you can cut fabric, vinyl, cardstock and more, plus take advantage of a huge image and font library (called cricut design space) to design and create your own projects.

out of the box, the cricut explore comes with a simple guide and a selection of materials (including cardstock, vinyl and two Duck Tape sheets) so you can immediately start on one of 50 free projects. no-commitment subscriptions to cricut design space will be available for $9.99/month or an annual subscription for $99.99.

for paper crafters, this takes stationery and paper products to the next level! check out some of the cool stuff you can create with the cricut explore:

the cricut explore goes on sale next month for $299 via the home shopping network, and at joann's, michaels, amazon.com and more starting march 16th. paper crafting (and vinyl crafting, and cardstock crafting...) just got a whole lot more exciting!
