the great 2014 valentine swap conclusion

okay! it's march! i'm still thinking about valentines. haha. before we let a complete month pass the day of love, i thought i better wrap up the whole swap thing.

this year's handmade valentine swap was the best yet! we had 300+ participants from all around the world -- most U.S. states, germany, the phillipines, scotland, australia, indonesia, singapore, south africa...it was fantastic. every year, i put all the swappers in groups of 5, and i usually include my mailing address too in case they have an extra they'd like to send me. this year my mailbox was FULL for a week straight with tons of gorgeous cards! i can personally vouch for the awesome quality of our 2014 swappers. many went way above and beyond, but most of my favorites were just simple handmade cards.

people always ask me for examples of past valentines (which you can find plenty of on instagram with the #handmadeval hashtag!) but here are a few that knocked it out of the park in 2014. disclaimer: i wish i could feature ALL THE CARDS!! everyone did such a great job. but hey, i barely have enough time to write this post (did i mention it's already march 3rd?) so i could only give a shout out to the ones that went especially above and beyond.

^^ all other cards from the very talented meredith hendricks, owner of winnie press! it feels like cheating when a letterpress printer participates in the swap because i was SO lucky to get some of her gorgeous cards & tags.
