you've probably seen this cute video floating around the web -- but did you know that stationery-selling extraordinaire cardstore is the driving force behind it? here's the video, titled "world's toughest job," if you haven't watched yet:
i thought it was funny & heartwarming (if not a little too predictable) the first time i watched it -- i'm a full-time stay-at-home-mom and i could definitely relate to a lot of the stuff mentioned here ("if you had a life, we'd kind of ask you to give that life up." haha!). the clip has been viewed more than 11 million times (!) as of this posting, and i've seen ALL sorts of negative & positive feedback across the web. some people seriously hate it, which is silly -- i don't think it's in any way demeaning toward moms, as some people have written, because it's all true. motherhood is HARD work; harder than i ever thought it would be, actually -- but it's also the best and most rewarding thing i've ever done. my own mom is my lifelong hero, too.
what do you think about it?
regardless of your opinion of the video, i'm sure we can all agree that cardstore's mothers day cards are awesome -- i totally love all the photo customization options! plus, they're all 25% off with code CCF4413 until april 23. here are a few of my favorites:
keep up the great work, cardstore!
